Went to Bristol today. Loads of roads shut and saw a few Landy's winching & dragging cars and vans from flooded roads. Anyone here involved in the fun?
No.... but flood related question. Local road, regularly floods under bridge and road is closed - big red signs -placed by council/police ?
Could easy get through with landy but chickened out and went on 5 mile detour instead ..... so , is a road closed sign enforceable or advisory ?
so I can cross a river, stream, ford that's twice as deep and flowing but I have to stop for a big puddle ...... why enforceable ?

I've a mondeo to look at as it has been submarine'd
:nopics::nopics:
Allegedly a bow wave over it-it's not going to be good.
I reckon bent conrod as it stopped and allegedly won't start from description given to me
possibly,or just water hydraulick'd.unlikely but poss.
:bounce::bounce:pull the plugs and give it a good ****ing.
durty man.
It's a TCDI- allegedly rac started it and it ran briefly, stopped and wouldn't go after.
Either it will get fixed or written off and if worth doing fixed
well if it did run, then it cannot be that much wrong with it,hopefully.when you looking at it??.
It's currently in Taunton, I believe the NFU will assess it and go from there.
MY mate's stepson was driving it and from previous experience he doesn't tell the whole story.
My mate let him have the car after he blew up an escort and smashed up a peugeot
So until the assessor decides write off value it is debatable 54 plate tcdi 2.0 100k.
So it's not worth a vast amount.
But if you can't afford a lot more-worth doing.
Small flood up here in Derbyshire today on one of the little back roads.
We had to drive through about 7 inches of water in the D1 V8.
Hard-core stuff, eh?
