Anyone heard of London Remaps?

No have not heard of them. However a quick look at their website show they will 'remap' just about every car made since Henry Ford started. They will be using a generic remap.

I would strongly suggest you contact Pete Bell at Bell Auto Services here or Gary Wood at Alive Tuning here

These guys do not use generic remaps, they have rolling roads and develop their own maps. They can advise/supply items such as silicone hose, larger intercoolers etc etc.

Pete Bell was the first to crack the Puma 2.2 retune.

They will not give you figures plugged out of thin air but can supply bhp/torque curves generated off their own rolling roads. So go for a generic remap one size fits all or go to someone who specialise in Land Rover??

Cheers guys, I am aware of Bell & Alive but I thought id ask. I have done a bit moe research youve confirmed what i thought.
Both are pretty far from me which is why I was leaning toward Dynachip.

Not after a lot, just remove the flat spots, more torque, more power on the low end (for overtaking and the such). No interest in top speed I never go above 65.

Since both Pete and Gary have remapped vehicles as far afield as Australia and South America, London should not provide too much of a problem to either of them.

They actually specialise in Land Rovers so understand things like Defenders.

Why do you think that they have such a good reputation amongst Defender owners whereas very few people seem to know about London Remaps.

Why not ask BAS and Alive for power torque curves taken from actual vehicles tested on their rolling roads and see if LR have their own rolling road for generating their own Remaps.
