hi all I’ve got a discovery as a second vehicle but with my current situation it may turn into my daily and only means of transport. Now mine is running as it should according to diagnostics at my local Land Rover specialist but I’m wanting more for hills and motorway driving and the occasional towing.

Has anyone got a remapped one down in Devon that I could ride shotgun in and experience before I take the plunge.

Which part of Devonshire do you live? I’m just over the boarder in Somerset. I’m not sure if mine has been mapped (just got it last week) but it goes like a scolded cat! If you’re this side of the county you’re welcome to a ride sometime.

I’m not far from the border of Somerset but I test drive will definitely convince me whether to get the map. Cheers
 
I’m hopefully taking it to a mate that does remaps on Friday to see if it has been mapped yet. I’ll let you know what happens.
 
I had my Skoda Octavia remapped and f&@k me did it make a big difference!! Went through front tyres regularly.... they found an extra 50ish horses somewhere and it was a whole lot smoother with the power delivery. Driving at a steady 60 I did over 700 miles out of a £55 tank of diesel and the light still hadn’t come on! In my experience, remaps are well worth it if done properly.
