Any recommendations for heavy duty 110 springs?

A mate of mine runs on air assisters on his frontera. He says they are great on road when he is towing. My concern would be with the possibility of damaging em when offroading.

Some air asisters are rubber bags that fit inside the springs, the only thing I think that would get damaged with these Monroe Max-Air shocks is if you didn't clip the air hoses close to the chassis they could get caught up on summat. I think I would route the pipe straight up the body of the shocker then, clip to the chassis then up through the floor around the tailgate, so you can adjust the pressure easily.

I'm not on commission honest. I've asked Monroe if they have a Max-Air model that fits a Defender and if so where to get them. I'm going to talk to TerraFirma about them when I go up there, I'll let you know what they say.

Am I right in saying that the only way to tell one spring from another (e.g. heavy duty etc) is the colour of the paint on it?

Cheers,
