Got that un', it's a bit fiddly, but after a couple of practices it does a good job. done quite a few pipes on me Series with it & they've all sealed ok.

Just use plenty of brake fluid to lube it as you're flaring the pipe.......so to speak!

You say fiddly, is it to fiddly to fix a copper brake line in situ?
Like when you round that ****ty nut off or snap the pipe, do ya reckon it would be an arse to fix a pipe that way, so long as there is enough slack and got all the correct bits?
I only ask as, I wanted brake pipe for this week end so I could put my wings back on and fill landy with coolant ect.
BUT brake man not done pipes:mad:
and my passenger side line goes all around the bulkhead and out under wing to the where it joins the flexi.
I have sawn the pipe off because nut gave me gip and if I cleaned the end reckon I could use it again.
I cant get on with anything else till THE ****ING BRAKE LINES ARE IN AAAAAH:mad:
sorry annoied me that has I only got weekends to tinker as work stupid long hours and get little time off....aaah sorry what a rant:eek:
 
That draper kit looks very similar to the sealey one I've got. It;ll be fine for occasional use with copper pipe just don't try to flare anything tougher like brass with it. Doing flares in situ is very possible but can be fiddly. Can save you a lot of messing though.
