Hey all,
this is my question, i have a defender 130 1997, my mechanic are saying that the chassis is super A2B very good landrover garage in Dubai.
but the test center is saying that the chassis is dodgey like it has been rewelded.
but my mechanic are saying that the chassis welding on a 130 1997, is was never perfect
As 130 Are 110 made longer to fit the double cab and tub by hand.
has any one had this problem in the UK.
And do you know if there is anywhere i can find out vechile history if i give the correct numbers etc
my other question, do you think if i take it to landrover they shall verifiy if it is a good landrover weld or not..
as i am dreading going through this ball ache every year with this car
to me and the Machanic that i trust, this all looks good underneath and to what i can see is that there is very little rust to none under neath as i have had to strip the whole chassis now so the inspectors can have a good look.
