Hi lads,
Just recently bought a disco series 2 on a W plate. Looks like I need to replace the rear mudflap panels and get a few other little bits and pieces done, but seem to be struggling to find someone local that will work on it. If I had the time and space I would have a go myself, but ideally need ramps to get under it properly etc. Want to get a few of the rusty bits sorted and waxoyled up to prolong the life of the underside.

Had the same problem but refused to spend the best part of £100 on the brackets, which you will find won't fit as the mountings will also have rusted away.
Make your own - much more satisfying.

If you don't want to underseal your Disco yourself there are plenty of companies offering it. I couldn't find one in Scotland and traveled to the North of England to have it done.

and of course :welcome:

Thanks Biggeee. Advice appreciated, I have taken the car to two local garages and both seemed rather clueless with discoverys so thought best seek a pointer from some folk in the know and thought there would be no better place than a landy forum! Interested to find out whereabouts in the north of England you got your car waxoyled/undersealed. I could probably do it myself, but figure it would be less hassle to give it to a garage and get it done properly up on ramps so they can get to all the bits properly. Oh and tried google wiltshire landyman, but its like a yellow pages lottery, much rather personal recommendations.
Cheers

Steve
