94 300 TDI, 2nd owner with 52k MilesI've a lovely Tdi auto, 100k miles, good service history but 10 previous owners. Chassis, boot and all floors basically rust free but I had to weld a little on an inner wing. It's a bit of a wimp, summer use only.

YES i have DI aviemore 300tdi 1998 british racing green with the glass coat peeling . Daily use and holidays pulling the caravan a swift conqueror. luv it .Well I have a D1 so was just wondering how many users here still have one in daily use.
finally got my 3 door XS back after replacing most of the floor, body mounts.
replaced seals in sunroof, still leaked into front foot wells, found spot welded seam behind exterior front wings that had not been sealed properly, 5 repair patches later and ready for the next one.
took a tank full to run properly though, well slow to accelerate but good on fuel.
Me! 300tdi manual, P reg 5 door. 127k no rot. Proper bumpers front and rear, leaky windscreen, peeling lacquer and I love it!
