Any bright ideas?

Tonight driving I found that I only had the front side lights, on both sides, on and not the normal diped beam, changed the bulb to no affect. I could only get the main beam when I pulled the laver towards me on the non latching way, if I pushed it nothing happened.

We checked the fuses too.

Any sugestions, is it the switch or the realy end?

PS. it is not very easy driving in the dark with no lights!

There is a wire broken off on the back of the dipswitch,take off the plastic steering column cover and look at the back of the switch - you will soon see what has happened. Usually ok just to resolder the wire back on.
