anti roll bar spacers

I've finally given in and fitted a 2" lift to the old rangie and was just wondering if there is a spacer fit available for the anti roll bars or whether anyon'es done it or not? do i need tio bother? Tis especially the front i was worried about as after the lift it has brought the arb closer to the prop so may well limit suspension travel?
 
arb will limit travel anyway..thats part of their nature..

however i made mine lower by extending the chassis mounts..(mine had no arb to start with).thus not ****ing prop...
 
eye i appriciate that the arb will limit movement but even more so now as it is so much closer to the prop than before, i'm just surprised there isn't as many firms selling arb spacers as there are selling lift kits ...
 
Can you not just fab up some spacers and weld them onto mounts?

Did you do a suspension or body lift?

Yep i can knock up some spacers, just need to find somewhere to get the metal from, ally or steel as it needs to be about 150mm x 45mm x 40mm. Don't really want to weld anything to existing mounts as want to keep it reversable should i put the old girl back to stock suspension at a later date. Liftted just the suspension for now tho considering a body lift an orl

In regards to body lift, I was going to do one on my RRC 90. But the chassis was rotten.
Got a full set of 2" spacers and bolts if your interested.
do you have an engineering company round your way, you could get some metal from?
or you can order bits from metals4u, billsons etc.
 
thanks fellas, i'll fab up some box section out of some nice 2mm galvy with sleeves for the bolts, now where did i put that spare 5 minutes... :p i guess after all the chassis mounting is not exactly beefy anyhow.

Thanks for the offer but i don't want to take the car too far away from stock for now, besides when mrs rusty's classic fails the mot i might turn that one into me greenlaner instead :)
