I have been checking over a Freelander 2 that I purchased recently ( thankyou to Nodge68 for the pointer in the right direction
). The rear wheel compartment doesn`t have a spare wheel although judging by the attached photo there appears to be markings on the bottom of the compartment to suggest perhaps there may have been one in situ previously.
I have never used foam or a tyre inflator canister before, so, What is the can of inflator like to use? as I have heard stories suggesting the foam spray can not be removed from any deflated tyre rendering the tyre redundant.
I much prefer the idea of finding a replacement spare wheel, the wheels presently fitted are 235/60R18. Is there such a thing as an 18" space saver wheel for a Freelander or would I need to find another conventional 18" wheel and tyre together with a suitable jack?
Looking forward to reading peoples thoughts and suggestions.
