Anyhows joined to learn a bit more about Defenders and the like, as i have been thinking of buying one for some time now, but don't know which is best , off roading , etc
So Hi to all and hope the forum isn't totaly hostile...?

Nothing hostile about this forum if you bother to take the time to search for answers first ... if stuck then ask for help.... Welcome to LZ ;)

:welcome2: and well done ;)

Depends what you want it for really.

90 for off-road

110 for load carrying and towing

Disco for a bit more refinement

Rangie if you got a butler that doubles as an auto- electrician

Freelander if you want everyone to take the ****

There're all pretty capable off-road apart from the baby of the group which suffers serious ground clearance issues

:welcome2: to Landyzone

After calling a landrover a jeep I'm surprised you're still breathing.;):D:D:D

Don't take things to heart, the inmates get a bit protective of their vehicles and the forum sometimes so take it as bein the light hearted banter that it is and you may just live to fight another day.;):)

Roll with the punches and you'll usually find the info you require..... after sifting through a few pages of inane twoddle on the way through.:p

Cheers folks,,,,
Will keep ya updated on what i buy,,, W either be a 90 or 110.... I say now it's nat about the off roading but i reckon that will all change when i get one ... Thats if the wife doesn't throw mw out first,,, She doesn't know yet and there's two other toys in the garage..!
It'll also be used for pulling the caravan, so i'll i wouldn't mind getting a country version..
