Pin 86, usually the odd one out as all the other pins line up in one direction.
Provided it's type B relay cos there are cases when type A is used https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/relay-guide.htmlAlso, relay holders are pennies from motorfactors.
Relay pins are as so
87 = 12V+ feed to aux wiring
85 = earth
86 = trigger feed from switched feed
30 = 12V+ from battery

Judging by the state of that wiring I would hazard a guess that the previous owner went in there on several occasions and hacked away to his/her hearts content.This thread may help,
https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/m-reg-300tdi-relays.296622/
even had the same problem, heater blower. But it would help us all if you could tell us which year your 300tdi is and which model eg S, ES, GS, Anniversary, etc.
...which was probably why he brought it to the forum's attention! But the OP may find some of the responders' information, suggestions and answers useful, I hope so anyway.Judging by the state of that wiring I would hazard a guess that the previous owner went in there on several occasions and hacked away to his/her hearts content.
Plus we KNOW OP's vehicle has been mucked about, as those gauges have been added and that may just be the start!...which was probably why he brought it to the forum's attention! But the OP may find some of the responders' information, suggestions and answers useful, I hope so anyway.

Most of my 200Tdi wiring loom was burnt out by the PO and the welders incompetence lol I know all about the wiring of an old Discovery hahaha
€1200Must have got it cheap then!
In which of our beloved neighbouring countries did you pay that in Euros then? Presumably before you moved back to Hants.€1200
If that was before 2008 that was about £800 which was cheap although if the wiring was burnt out maybe not so cheap!€1200
