Another dicky MAF sensor

Just a quick one for all you free lander owners,iv just recently bought a td4 and it was flat as a pancake so I took out the maf sensor and give it a clean up just using cotton wool buds it was pretty dirty so I refitted it and it goes loads better but the engine management light is permanently on now iv tried unplugging it and starting up then replugging it in and still no joy has any one experienced this? I'm looking to buy the rover Ron box and maf sensor would this cure the light problem? Any help would be appreciated guys!

Don't take this wrong but I did something very similar to a diesel a few years ago but the wire film Mac is very delicate and I managed to brake the wire but it didn't look any different apart from looking cleaner same with the light on perament, maybe try and get an DVM and see if you can test it might have to Google for ohms reading.

I think you will find that they are a back to back diode ,that what I was told

Are they more robust then the film and wire ones?

Thanks for that mate i think I'm going to try the father in-laws sensor in and see if it cures it!
