Ok. So I know it has been asked a million times before, but technologies move on and things improve. Sooooooo... Big 35" tyres on 15" rims. They are likely to need a fair bit of balancing even if they are good quality bfg's.
What is the consensus on balancing beads? I haaaaaaaate unsightly weights spoiling the look of new rims/tyres. They are just plain fugly.

Crap ! Better to have a good driving car with weighted wheels. Not that you will get that on the tyre/wheel combo your looking at.

I've 35" BFG Muds on 15s and drives fine. Slight vibration at about 25-30mph alright but think it's my front prop more than any imbalance in the wheels as it changes when clutch is pressed and Defender is left coast.

I fit tyres at my mates garage, I run 33's on 15s fine with the weights inboard so you can't see them.
I'm right at the limit for my gearing, wheel balance etc and wouldn't go bigger.
We tried the beads, but do they didn't last. If you hit something hard you get the wheel wobble from hell till they balance again. I'm sure it's well documented on the Web from people I've spoken to
