I will be there for the day no matter what. Just need to work out if I'm definitely going to camp or not. Depends slightly on the boy and his mum's work. I'd like to bring him up but a day of us old nerdy sods will see him pretty bored I'm sure. I also have an FL friend who is interested. Is there a deadline for confirming 1) numbers on the day and 2) confirmation of camping?

@Nodge68 have you thought anymore about this?
I'm planning on coming up. I'll make my own way, as I will probably be time limited.

I feel it's very poor show that @GrumpyGel is showing up!!!

I draw your attention to...

The NZ crew will need at least 6 weeks confirmed notice to ship the cars over.

Oh, and a spectacularly successful Go Fund Me page!

As nobody contributed to a Go Fund Me I'm afraid I've just used by holiday allocation on a splendid holiday in Port Douglas and Cairns snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, swimming with Turtles, standing on a boat while a pod of Humpbacks get airborne around us, walking around rain forest having Cassowaries step out in front of us, patting Koalas, swimming in the apartment pool, not swimming on the Crocodile tours, walking golden sandy beaches, dining from burgers, chips and a cold beer through chocolate farm tea rooms to high end (it is relative, Aussie high end) cuisine with a glass or 2 of lovely Italian red. The winter weather was a bit terrible, 27 degrees every day and we had 1 day where it was cloudy.

Admittedly, not as spectacular as camping in Cornwall with a bunch of Freelander geeks, but its a price I have to pay for living so far away I suppose.
