Hey all.

Quick update - as some of you may know, my fan / axillary belt went on the FL2 and it stopped running and wouldn't start. I was concerned that the shredded belt had affected the timing belt and ruined the engine as it would turn over but not start.

Tonight the brilliant Baz Meredith arrived like a Knight in shining armour, walked over to the engine, flicked a switch and then said "Fancy a wager?".....10 seconds later she was running as good as ever!!! What a man and what a skill 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Reminds me of the story of the man who had been fixing ships since he was a kid.....

Great so you took my advice in this thread below, excellent that he could sort it out, he knows is stuff does Baz.

The crank shaft sensor was replaced because the FL2 was running rough and i had a couple of stalls, i have also heard that the plug can go loose due to the pins in the plug wearing John(Nodge) changed his plug because of the same problem.

Don't think so, think it was the crank sensor that came out?
Anyway, he has now carried out the repair - replaced the pulley, belt etc.
The Freelander is now back on the road!!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
