amber traction control and hdc light

Hi all ,in the past week when i press the brake the amber traction control light and hdc lights illuminate ,sometimes they go out quickly other times stay on for longer,but always come back on when brake is pressed. I have read some posts suggesting brake light switch might be the fault, if so where is that located and what does it look like

you've been short changed .... LR issues 3 amigos as part of the entertainment package ....

brake light switch is behind the pedal and its a total doddle to replace.

Twist it anti clockwise, pull out and remove plug.

When fitting new one first fit plug to it, then depress brake pedal, fit the switch and let the pedal come up: this sets the plunger on the ratchet so the lights come on at the right time.
