Got the 3 pin plug connected to the altenator, coming off from that is a wire with a circle connection on the end, where does that connect too? My guess would be the earth on the starter, can anyone help??

2.5 NA in a series 3....

On my series 3 2.6 i only have two wires from the alt, the large brown wire goes to the solonoid and the thin long yellow/ light brown wire goes to the starter but not the same conection as the large red lead from the solonoid, don't know if thats any help?
