I need a replacement alternator, can anyone suggest a good cheap source?
Tried scrap yards (sorry I mean salvage!) but they don't seem to have any. I suppose its one of the least scrapped brands.
I've been told a Montego one will fit.

Any ideas?

try paddock spares i think their alts are about 20 squid

Try your local motor factors. I bought one from whiston motor factors in st helens for less than 40+vat for my 2.25. Craddocks were cheaper but I couldnt wait for the postage.......
