Various methods.
A big chunky impact wrench is usually enough to do it without much holding.
Doing it manually, then wedge something in the flywheel, or leave in gear with wheels chocked, ensuing it is unable to start.
Clutch not plumbed in yet , will I have to remove the starter to get at flywheel,? whats best to wedge in there ? dont want to break anything. also need a socket to fit, after reading a few posts think its 41 mill

There might be a timing plate on the flywheel housing. Wedge a cold chisel into the ring gear, tight, so there's no movement, and then torque it up. If there's no movement then the ring gear should be okay.

If you have a decent windy gun/impact driver it should do the job in a couple of seconds. Alternatively if you can get a quality socket over with a t-bar. You could wack the end a few times with a 3lb hammer as the mass of the internal moving parts will provide enough resistance to have enough torque to get your nut tight enough.
You don't want to over tighten it, and if your concerned it could work loose, use some thread lock.

Think it's about 150 ft pounds or something, frightened to hit it to hard Incase I break it

Went up tonight to take starter moter off to jam it up that way for when I get the correct socket, but stupid me dropped a ba!!!ard allen key down in the gearbox so instead of half hour I was up there all bloody night
Got box off, but when I finally got it back on there is a slight gap, packed in for the night nearly bloody killed my self on my own, will try again tomorrow.
