hello mate yeah im a plumber by trade and i work for an air con firm, i do the air con heating and coolin connections for them and we fit tea points toilets etc and i also specialised in leadwork in the past . our firm went quiet for a while and our boss priced some jobs very low to keep us all going , needless to say they have all come in and we are now stretched to the limit for labour has yours picked up yet and do you just do the employing or are you hands on

yeah , im a joiner by trade, bench work mostly, windows and doors , stairs etc, got a workshop and small yard.
... but moved in to plumbing and heating , electrical as well as the usual kitchens and bathrooms.
yeah has been quiet, but picking up now, tis back on track after the credit worries, whitch were more lack of faith more than anything else, now people are getting things done again,
me father inlaw owns a bank fitting company that has first pick at barclays, hsbc and a lot of securicor sites, across the country, multi million pound set up , and he wen dead fer weeks, put the **** up him a bit , but now he thinks the good times are back to the building trade, wait and see i spose,
yeah im hands on , on the **** end so to say , but wouldnt change it for the world .
