Hi, my RR TD6(2004) Vogue has gone hey wire. It all started the other day. I was driving and the radio wouldn't turn on whilst showing the land Rover symbol on the center screen. Oh well, not the end of the world. I parked the car and locked the car. Half an hour latter the alarm was cherping.I unlocked the car to cancel it & left the car unlocked for the night. The next day I drove 1/2 mile to work and the indicators stopped clicking, again left unlocked. Came back 8 hours to a dead battery and car won't start + head light won't come on.+ steering lock not releasing. So I had a friend jump start the car. I drove the car 20 miles on a dual carriageway and seems much better but Still got a dead screen + no radio. What has happened to this wonderful car? How do I fix it? Please help Landy zone.

First and foremost, I would say get your battery checked. Kwik Fit do it for nothing and will test it with their kit.
A close second would be to have the codes read using a recognised code reader.
No point guddling about in the dark, codes will assist

And of course Welcome

Ho and welcome, you would be better to post this in the Range Rover specific forum as the fellas in there often don't venture out this far ;)
Wow,this is a great site. I am getting messages of help & advise already. In the excitement I forgot to say hello Oops, HELLO LANDYZONE.

New Battery, new alternator after that, and get the codes read.
Thank you for your help. After the jump start got a reading of 14 volts before was 11.8 volts at battery and wouldn't power the head lights. Sounds rather costly but I am committed now.
