However, as rightly pointed out by earlier posts on this thread, I was merely pointing out the folly of painting front brake discs red, as there may be some less educated or worldly wise members who would paint the whole disc red. The friction given by brake pad friction material onto red paint as opposed to steel disc would, in my opinion, be greatly inferior.
Given that the general nature of this forum is of a shall we say humourous/sarcastic form, I am a little disappointed that you have chosen to take offence at what I thought was a tongue in cheek comment about painting brake discs, particularly given the friendly banter you have engaged in before.
If I have caused any offence or upset to you, your passengers, or anyone on this forum who wishes to decorate their vehicle in any manner which they feel is acceptable, I truly am sorry.
You have my assurance that in future I will not participate in a derogatory manner against any thread or comment started or made by you. I shall just gently chuckle to myself.
Furthermore, to refer to me as "PAL" would imply a certain level of friendship. This would therefore suggest that a reasonable amount of tolerance would be shown by both parties. You, sadly have exhibited none, and therefore "PAL" is inappropriate.
If you are annoyed about the sunroof panels, despite clearly indicating you were happy for the sale to proceed, please let me know, as the sale has yet to be completed, and I will be more than happy for Stonrow to sell them to you instead of me.
