Alarm siren not working

Hi all, anyone know the answer on this one?
P38 2000 4HSE
My alarm siren does not work. The system itself appears to be OK just no sound. I have checked through the owners manual and the workshop manual and can find no reference to being able to 'disable' the siren. Before I start to remove the siren and test it I wondered if anyone knew of a way to disable / enable the siren?

Firstly- disconnect and test the siren (Located to the rear of the battery tray). If that's okay, it could have been disabled in the BECM settings and can be re-enabled by someone with either Rovacom, Autologic or your local Land Rover Stealers Test Book.
