hi
i have just had my "revised" receiver delivered...on the mount next to the multiplug it has what looks like an additional earth which the old one doesnt?
any ideas? think Ill just wire it to the nearest earth point...

Fault finding electronics by replacement has never been the way to go, get the kit plugged in to testbook or similar and then interrogated.

It was full of water...

I too appear to have encountered the alarm receiver problem on out 99 Discovery. Local stealers have on in stock (not bad for the West of Ireland) and I'm going to give it a go even though the current one does not even seem damp.
My question is, do the retaining clips of the receiver just prise out? Mine seem welded in place!
