Ok had leaky airstrut passenger front

Decided I needed to fix it so bought a Dunlop airstrut from Island 4x4 which stated it was for L322 2002-2006

Fitted the airstrut and then remembered to keep it jacked up and let air in without the weight of car on it..then lowered the car....had taken the 57 fuse out whilst doing repair. Then put fuse back in before starting car up...

Question have I fitted it wrong.....can you fit it wrong...

I notice now doesn't matter what setting its on that corner is higher than all the rest....I notice the drivers front which looks quite new is a DELPHI and the one I've put on the passenger side is a Dunlop. ....are they that much different the height difference is a good 25mm

Any suggestions.

Also I note that at full height the rear does not go up as high as the front and no where near as high as the old P38 used to raise

You will need to re calibrate the suspension. Some kind fellow near you with all comms or the like will prob do it for beer money

Ha, ok. I happen to be in the south west at mo , but my all comms is at home in Hull so no scrumpy for me!

Why would you need to calibrate suspension after changing a strut, unless the sensor position has been changed?

It's the sensor that governs the height not the strut. Maybe you stressed the sensor when you were changing the strut, whatever, you will now need to calibrate the suspension.
