I have a shot condensor, are they repairable?
Or Extortionately expensive new?

to be honest im not sure how those refill kits work. i do know when i had my condensor replaced my specialist used this special machine that basically, in a nutshell (n the way i understood it), sucked everything out of the system, like any water vapour etc etc and held the vacum to check for leaks and it then put the oil and refrigirant in. the machine then checked everything was ok and voila, working a/c. i think to totally evacuate the system you need this machine and any a/c place should be able to sort you out. i may be totally way off the mark here but as nobody has replied i thought i would chime in and say what my experience was.Pat said:Can anybody advise PLEASE!!!
I have replaced both condensor & reciever dyrer, even have refill kit. . .
BUT . . .
HOW DO YOU REFILL FROM EMPTY???
Rave manual says evacuate first - HOW???
assistance much appreciated
