The problem is the air suspension was working fine even with the central locking issues the problem with the suspension started after I had new tyres fitted on Saturday morning

Have you checked the relay under the bonnet and also the fuse?

I've read your post I've checked relays fuses etc I now think that when I was at tyre place Saturday morning they have caught something when they jacked up discovery
i need some advice here would you convert to coil springs ? I am thinking of putting a 2" lift kit on my disco but if I keep the Air bags ( Rear ) I will only require spacers all round ? will I also need new shocks ? standard or + 40mm ? I don't know any one with a nanocom that can turn off the use of air bags if I do convert to coil
