Have you sprayed it with soapy water to identify the leak?
IIRC, it's a bayonet, you'll need to turn it with an allen key while pressing it in. then a spring will jump out with it.

some people have claimed to source them I dont know where though...

have you simply tried to tighten it up? carefull it's metal going into plastic so you could strip the threads easy.

Tighten the brass nut where the air hose to the spring fits into the valve?

Sounds like it's buggered then...
Someone reckoned they'd found a source of the valves separately, but the alternative is to replace the compressor assembly as a whole.
