P38A Air suspension not rising in one corner

Hi, today's new problem. Suspension was all working fine but couldn't get it out of accessibility mode today.
I really need to get a nanocom but I'm hoping there's enough clues here for someone in the know.

When I now try and raise the suspension it all raises apart from the front right.
When I knock the engine off, the front right rises a little to level out.
If I do this a couple of times I can get the front right close to normal height.
Orange light still flashes on the switch as it mustn't be quite at the right level.
Once it's as high as ai can get it, it stays there.

There are no errors on the dash.

In my mind this can only be a solenoid. Pump clearly works, level sensors appear to work. There appears to be no leaks. The system lowers to accessibility mode perfectly. Front right is clearly getting air otherwise it wouldn't level off.

What do others think.
 
The RSW software would be cheaper and quicker. would probably give enough info.

Just been checking out their website. I hadn't realised you could modify the BeCM and fault read the HVAC, V8 engine faults and ABS faults with the paid for version on the RSW suite.
Quarter of the price of a nanocom.
Since I have a HVAC fault and want to disable EKA and immobiliser on the BECM I may just go with the RSW option.
It's seems to be able to do what the nanocom can do (provided you don't have a diesel).
Can anyone think of what I might likely miss one day not having the nanocom?

i justified the cost based on what it would cost to have someone do a diag read out

hvac fault is often one of the blend/distribution motors stuck

I don't know as the RSW stuff has been updated many times but you may find that it cannot make changes to BECM settings so I suggest you check before you buy. As far as I'm concerned, to cover all systems, the Nanocom is second to none for the P38 and not locked to one car.

According to their video they can change almost every BeCM setting I can think of.

I have the latest version of the RSW suite and the proprietary cable. Running on a Windows 7 tablet with an adaptor for the USB connection, you could run it on a laptop to. I have made changes to the BECM, disabled the sunroof, disabled the immobiliser plus checked the suspension levels and reset the fuel trims after I fixed the LPG system. It does everything I need to do and Storey is really helpful.

I have both a Nanocom & the full RSW suite. I definitely prefer using the RSW suite as the interface is so much nicer. I have bee running it on my MacBook in a Windows VM but am very tempted to get the recommended HP tablet that sells for under £50 on eBay.

The great advantage of the Nanocom is that you can keep it in the the glove compartment so it's always with you. I don't keep the MacBook in the car but the Windows tablet would be perfect for this. The only thing that I would be slightly nervous about is the battery. The Nanocom is powered off the car so always available. It would be annoying to have a suspension fault while out on a journey to find the tablet battery was dead because it hadn't been used for a year. Maybe I should just get a tablet anyway as I can always use the Nanocom as a fall back.
 
That's good to hear as I pulled the trigger and bought the RSW system the other day.

I've actually got an old tatty HP laptop and the software seems to be running fine on it.
I'm just waiting for the cable to arrive.

As it happens the suspension decided to heal itself the day after I bought the RSW system.
Naughty gremlins, I know what game they are playing.

On the charge issue, I might get a cheap inverter to keep in the boot so I can always charge the laptop if needed when out and about.

I have a Chuwi 10" Win tablet, it charges via the USB socket I have in the car so will never be flat. You can get cheap USB chargers that plug into the cig lighter socket.

I carry the HP Stream 7 as Storey Wilson recommends and the battery lasts months without a charge if turned off and not in sleep mode
