Hi all l 322 2004 vogue diesel 3 litre.
Occasionally the air suspension bleeps when driving ,usually when I go over a bump . If I stop ,switch off, turn the steering wheel back and forth the sir suspension works again. It might do it again next bump or might last 100 miles .
Air suspension works fine and stays up overnight or indeed for a month.
I have had work done ,namely the top and bottom rear bushes on both sides . This problem appeared after I had the bushes done .
Any help appreciated,thank you

Check the connectors are pushed fully home at the height sensors.

When it “beeps” do you get any message show up?

I seem to remember (in the back on my grey cells) if the suspension is all tightened up before it’s put on its wheels then issues can occur. But can’t be certain.

Who did the work.

I know it’s a 322 but @gstuart

Did the work myself and all bolts were loosely fitted until wheels were back on floor
Datatek, yep good idea I'll double check just in case one worked loose ,I'll probably disconnect ,spray with contact cleaner allow to dry and refit .many thanks to all

hiya

I wonder if 4 x wheel alignment is required in case the geometry has been changed / steering wheel angle sensor needs calibrating, ??

know on the RRS and D3 any work on the front lower and rear suspension arms would req 4 x wheel alignment along with the suspension re- calibration and steering wheel angle sensor also reset

another thing is if the suspension hasnt been locked prior to jacking up to prevent damage

suppose that’s really the only thing I can also think of , alas not sure how the RRS and D3 compare with the FFRR when it comes to the suspension system, have seen some of the FFRR have active suspension with electrical connectors in the top of the airbags

ref steering wheel is that the case where u can turn the steering wheel lock to lock to reset the angle sensor or is that for something else plse , thks as just curios

Fit and remove the plug several times whilst the contact cleaner is still wet for the best result.
