That's better than mine then, I think mine may need some attention as it does have a tendency to overheat after a few ups and downs.

Good luck with the staffy, I do like dogs as long as I can give them back at the end of the day. My daughter has a border collie and with lockdown we have hardly seen him anymore. :(

hi there backinblack,
its like having kids again...
he's sleeping, he finally calmed down and fell asleep..so i have a few minutes before the hound starts again!!
re, the eas pump, honestly i couldnt fault the new cylinder and piston ring, after the pavlova we had with the none oem rings, so here is the link..
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOR-AUDI-Q7-A6-C6-BMW-X5-E53-AIR-SUSPENSION-COMPRESSOR-CYLINDER-HEAD-PISTON-RING/392893212980?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
so ive got to waite until the parts saga is sorted before mine gets any further, so in the meantime i put a question out earlier about water leak in o/s/r quater coming in above fuse box, possible window??
if you or anyone know id love to hear, thanks again and stay safe.
additional..
there were no import charges etc for the above kit, speedy service too.
additional..
you'd think with all the water that usually sloshes around in the boot that the pump overheating would be the last thing that would happen..:):):):):) it water cooled !

Well just an update on mine. Changed the rear sensor that was appearing ‘faulty’ only to have the same problem.

the REAL problem in my case was the Foxwell NT530 which will be going back for a refund! Began to suspect it was corrupting the calibration and also seems strange it asks you to select wheel size then no option to do so. In the end I have had it calibrated using a snapon solus ultra and figures went in first time and it now sits how it should

My Foxwell 510 says to select wheel size but also has no option to do so.
Strange that the Snapon worked on yours as we have another member with a snapon that did not work but my Foxwell did.

Think it could be NT530 specific as I have heard of lots of NT510’s working. Wish I had gone with the 510 too now! Anyway just glad she’s all sorted now!

hi there @APRES
this seems so very like mines and kds.
i have said can the foxwell doe this .. i have since wondered if it was corrupting stuff as initially the whole car raised in calibration mode and now the car seems just to pump up the front, thus problems persist, along with useless front sensor brackets made from cheese.
first time with snap on? all issues sorted?

Yes took all of 5 minutes and behaved as you would expect it to. Raised to calibration height all round, set my wheel size, popped in the measurements then it settled straight down. With regard to sensor brackets, can you not re use the original ones?

hi there @APRES
RE brackets , no the genuine original sensors on the front wont take the non gen sensors:mad:
and i put up a picture of my brackets, the n/s one would have been perfect, but o/f is less than half the thickness, light as a feather and istantly bent in my in my fists of ham!
in the words of victor meldrew, i dont believe it!!!!!,
canyou calibrate mine, please please please:)

Sorry but it was a favour as equipment belongs to my mates boss. Just thought it worth mentioning in case you can get hold of a different diagnostic machine. I will look at something more decent in the new year, IID seems to be the best rated system.
