Hi Guys at a bit of a loss with this one but i think it could be height sensor possibly.

just before xmas i had the ball joints replaced on the front of the car, the ones that bolt into the hub.
the garage fitting them had to remove the whole hub to fit these and during the time it was apart the air suspension went into a hard fault. i cleared this and all went back to normal however a few days after suspension went into fault, as i never had my hawked with me i continued my journey and it eventually cleared and went back to normal, i cleared the code and all was fine for a week, till it faulted again, and now after clearing the code it faults every few days. the code is 'DTC 100 articulation validity sporadic fault currently present' sometimes comes up as not present.
i also had another fault on mot day, which was i think was self levelling inactive, they had lowered the suspension to jack the car up but then left rear corner had sagged lower after jacking it up and car went into fault.
any ideas chaps? i'm thinking maybe height sensor or rear airbag maybe? car does sit a little lower on left rear but docent deflate overnight etc

Height sensor/s taken out of their normal operating range, may have picked up some sh1t on the sweep contact.

Kev,
Check the front sensors have been fitted correctly.
Also, Can't you use the live data on diagnostics to see what the height sensors are actually reading?

Kev,
Check the front sensors have been fitted correctly.
As they can be fitted either elbow facing out or inwards
Mine went into all sorts of faults after my mot again because it's left dangling on the ramp and height sensors pick up ****e as said above
I had suspension inactive and HDC ABS DSC all inactive and car started braking itself and Allcomms said front speed sensor fault but I kept clearing the fault and driving it around the block and eventually it cleared and has been fine now for over a month

i did a search and saw posts about height sensors, i checked them before posting, both are facing the outside of the car. did the 40 mile round trip to work tonight and no errors. just hope it's just picked up a bit of sh@t and will clear.
