Air con only works for about 5 mins

This has got me stuck
My P38 the air con works fine for about 5 mins then stops.
I have had it regased and vacked for leaks ans new oil and gas and all ok.
The blend motors seem to be doing what they should.
The air gap on the front of the pump seems ok hitting it didn't help.
I have put new pollen filters in and looked to see if all is clear.
I have disconected the overheat switch on the back of the pump just in case.
Still nothing , now i have run out of things to look for
It works fine and blows ice cold air for about 5 mins then you can her the compressor clutch disengage and that is it untill i stop and leave it for about an hour.
Anything you can do to help me would be very nice because i have a 300 mile each way drive at the end of the month

Open sunroof and windows work well if your aircon is bust. Could be the actual hevac unit itself. P38's dont have the most stable of electrical connections.

also could be shim needs taking out of back of cluch. hammy what i do i not got sunroof poor mans r/r lol

Just a quick up date
I took to hitting the HEVAC display thing and toutched the clutch and it worked .
Then i played with the air con switch it went off but not back on then took out the shim in the clutch and hay presto and crossed fingers found the problem
I will go out for a drive later ang give you an update when i get back

I have taken it out for a drive and all seemed to be working ok
The answer i think was the HEVAC and the pump clutch .
It didn't cross my mind to look for two things at the same time now i know the problem i can get a HEVAC any time.
But what can i say thanks to you for your help in this matter i would never done it with out you all .
I will keep reading and offer what i can to help

I also have a working air con unit

so have i but i unpluged it just for the fun of it lol
