I have seen a YouTube video showing a product called EZ Chill which tops up your AC via th elow pressure port. Is it any good and where is the low pressure port on my LR3 (please note I do not know my way around the engine bay terribly well)? Can you help me please? JTH

If your A/C has stopped working it's got a leak or something else is wrong with it

If you take it to a specialist they'll put it on a machine and test the volume of gas in it

The cans are a guess at best , it's a high pressure system, a leak wants fixing, waste of money

Thanks for the speedy reply. My ac still works it is just not so chilly. It hasn't packed up altogether it just isn't so robust. thoughts?

I used the stuff from half orcs last year on my l series freelander. My system needed gassing and had no leaks I took the risk and bought it and that's how I found it had no leaks

Sold the car in January air con still cold as the day I used the Hanford regas

its not ideal, a proper regas removes the old stuff, applys a vaccum to check for leaks, then refills, along with the right amount of lubricant.
I got my last one done at kwak fit watched em while they did it, and its automated so even they cant get it wrong, they hook up the pipes, and press go, think it was £35.

Proper regas removes any moisure from the system before refilling too.

If we get one in with a leak legally we have to vac and fill with nitrogen to find the leak then when repaired fill with the correct gas.
