Air Con and jumping

Hi

Got my Range Rover a few weeks ago...love it.

It is the 2001 County 4.0..

I have a couple of questions...

Aircon - does not seem that cold....I presume the max cold is Lo setting but should AirCon off button be lit orange or not..the manual is very confusing and not specific...also do I have to get it regassed?


When accelerating especially uphill the car sort of kangaroos and I can hear a popping underneath...any ideas what this could be?

The orange light signals the air-con is off!
The idea is with climate controll that its always on and will kick in to keep the cabin at the desired temperature, so the warning light tells you its off!

Dont know about the popping? does it run on lpg?

thanks for that...just been out and about it is 12 degrees here and only warn air flows - does it need regassing? any ideas?
