Noticed over the weekend I can fit both batteries and my T-max air compressor in the battery box.

Is there anything wrong with this? As in is the battery box too dusty or open to the environment to store an air compressor?

The batteries are Odyssey seal batteries but is there a problem with potentially pumping batteries fumes into your tires?

My compressor is under the bonnet and has been for many years. Nothing wrong with it so I wouldn't worry about dust. The only thing about in being in the battery box would be possible over heating? I don't know, it would prob be fine but they do get pretty warm and obviously the battery box is relatively sealed.

Can't comment on battery fumes as I didnt know batteries let off fumes until you mentioned it and I googled it.

Thanks for the info mate. If it can survive under the bonnet then it should be able to survive in there.

there is the possibility of the 12v pump causing an ignition source in event of right fume/air mixture occurring in your battery box !!
