took me a full day on my 4 poster @ 150psi to shot blast then glass blast the underside of my d2

looking into the dinotrol products as well

my concern with bead / glass blasting is doing any damage to electrics, considering the D3 has an extensive amount am looking into all options

think a rust converter being applied first but need to ensure that any loose or rust is removed first

so it's got a sound base for the paint to stick correctly and not just peel off

think in trying to use a wire brush would be a nightmare , but understand the inside of the chassis needs treating also due to it rusting inside out

the chassis is solid , has the rust marks from road salt has been remained on the chassis

maybe a small wire brush attachment might be one way of gettting it off

what about one of those needle thingies for stripping

that's a bloody good idea , nice one

are u also going to ur chassis

those needle tools would be considerably less mess, than either a blaster or grinder wheel

as it's just the case of getting any loose bits off

see to have it done professionally it's around £500 and that's not even lifting the body off

already worked out how to hold it in off road mode to gain good clearance underneath without it dropping , by use of isolation valves on the reservoir valve

Nope, I'm going to help Cottage Industries.
Plan would be to drop it off at yours, have 2 weeks in the sun, return and pick it up.
I'll pay you and bring you a bottle of duty free back.
