For those who have and use the workshop manual when fixing your FL2 (or any car) THIS IS A GAMECHANGER!!!

Google have just released Notebook.LM In short, it’s an AI that can totally digest custom source data such as research documents and white papers. It can reference and cross reference the info within.

I uploaded the Workshop manual (had to reduce the file size to under 300mb) and now it knows EVERYTHING the workshop manual has.

Feed it with your issues and error codes and it will help with diagnostics and help with understanding how the system works and steps to take to investigate / fix.

From what I’ve tried so far… it’s mind blowing.

This might help some… but don’t burn me at the stake if your anti AI

Hmmm. Just tried it with "RAVE One File" which is the complete P38 sections. Doesn't do much that a simple Ctrl-F search does in the real RAVE !!

Doubt they will on the current generation of vehicles... but likely in the future. Think of this as more of an assisted search of the WSM - a second set of eyes on the issues and functionality.

Just search for RAVE in this and other forums on LZ. There are three CD-ISO versions covering varios LR vehicles. The "one-file" version is just for P38. There's also an "All Models" version that includes these:

(other manufacturers usually have their own such as Opel-TIS, Ford-TIS, Mercedes-WIS, etc.) Most of them have replaced the CD versions with fee based online systems these days)
