Newie here, glad to have found this forum! I look forward to corresponding in due course!
I can see the appeal of these great cars, having had a freelander for a while (until I drove it into a ditch in front of 5,000 people..lol). Since then I've had a couple of xtrails which you might knock but to be fair, for the dosh, they're pretty good.
Now proud owner of a 2008 model tdv6 SE and it's mighty comfortable and a great drive. I'm liking the auto box and the heated leather seats on a cold morning. yummy.
Going to have a scoot round the forum now to find infor on bike carriers/towbars and such. Look forward to becoming a contributer if I find I have something to offer, which I hope during the coming years of ownership I can provide!

lol...I do like to have to odd "dangle". Off out tomorrow as it goes to explore an unfished trout lake. Can't be doing with fluff chucking really but rumour has it, the place contains some rather large Pike. I do prefer a spot of Carp fishing at a rather nice "pond" in the middle of Kempton Park racecourse or a bit of Barbelling on the river Kennet.Trying to type this but we keep scoring goals...3 nil so far
