Been lurking around for ages getting tech help and finally decided to join.
Learnt to drive years ago in an old series on a farm in Suffolk. Owned a Series 3 for awhile and currently have a J Reg 200 TDI 110 which we've had since new. Its a work horse and used extensively off road. No modifications apart from a 16,000 Ib winch on the front end. Also have a Discovery 3 following a period of disastorous Discovery 2.
 
I almost feel that this should be a new introduction its so long since I've been around this forum. Unfortunately work and renovating an old house has meant I've had very little time over the last 6 months or so.
Just a recap - I own a 92 110 Defender which we've had since new. Tin worm is now slowly reducing the chassis and bulkhead to dust. Its now covered 217,000 miles and I've just acquired a brand new original Landrover bulkhead which I intend to get galvanised. I've also ordered a Richards galvanised chassis along with suspension turrets, gearbox crossmember and rear body cross rail. The plan is to take her off the road after Easter and start the rebuild and at the same time possibly get a respray in a different colour.

I've also recently acquired a Series III lightweight already fitted with a galvanised chassis. I've always fancied one and having owned (well the company did) a long wheel base series III in the 80's I'm used to the lack of creature comforts!
