depends on what size outlets they have and whether it matches your kit.

culd get them from a mainstealer, or ask somewhere like paddocks if they can get hold of them?

This is what they told me.

"Yes it'll work OK - you'll just need to get the right hose unions for it."

I guess I would need to have it in hand to be able to figure out what unions I need?
I would like to be able to import everything at one time.

Thanks.

Hi Natas,

Any luck with your a/c choice yet? I see you're in Bahamas, similar heat and issues as me in Jamaica. I'm thinking of an older Defender 130 thats available and interested in fitting an a/c unit too. have been looking at Vintage Air, they have a slim line unit for universal under dash applications, total kit including compressor and condensor unit about $900. It is only 26" wide with 4 vents, so will not intrude on leg room for driver or passenger if mounted centered. Only things you'd need are a bracket for the compressor, which is easy to fabricate at any machine shop. However, it will not look as "factory" as full under dash unit made to fit the 300tdi Defenders from Elite Automotive. Also know of Car Builder Solutions as you've referred to in your previous posts.

Would love to know if you've made a decision, and if so, whats the price, pros & cons.

thanks!

what about a disco AC system?

I have a disco compressor, condenser and all the other bits and bobs sitting in my shed.

Don't know if it works since the disco was an engine donor for my defender.
