After a wiring loom for me 2a.. autoparks temp closure

Hello there. Hope all is well.

As the title states, I’m after a complete loom for my 62 2a (a suffix). I was going to order one from autosparks as they seem to be the go to people. I see I can get one from craddocks, are they ok? I can hold off until they re open but I’d like to be able to get on with it seen as I’ve all this time on my hands at the moment.

I have ordered some parts from craddocks over two weeks ago and still no show only small rubbers for hard top they charge the same as usual for delivery but put it down to the virus problem so if you want anything quick as first on delivery times
 
Ta mate, I’ll make sure I ask them about delivery if I decide to go for them. Did want to order some bits to do the brakes up from them as well...

Are autosparks closed? I'll be ordering mine from them as opposed to Craddocks cos I want to ask them a couple of questions about it andwhichoneis bestformy 2a. I've had a few deliveries from Craddocks and Paddocks though

Only temporarily, what with the virus. It’s daft really. I had all this time to order it.. hey ho!

Mmm, I'll be transplanting the loom out of this thing of beauty into mine today :oops:

So I might need a replacement loom myself :eek:
Mine's got an alternator, starter button, round heater and two individual wipers though so I need to make sure that the new one is compatible.
 
Must admit when my series 3 loom decided to start smoking I removed all the dashboard loom and rebuilt a new loom , laid it out on the kitchen floor , along with following the wiring diagram to cut out the extra bodges that were added over time

ideal project whilst in lockdown, ;):p:p

yeh i know , useless help, lol

ps, may I ask plse , have u got the full wiring diagrams, as I’m pretty sure I’ve got the loom layout If it’s any use to u

also diagrams with the Part numbers

I did think about making my own, but I decided it best to just buy one! I have a couple of wiring diagrams. None with specific part no. on though.
