OK I am on the lookout for any specialists near Worcester for some chassis work.

M&M are not really geared for this type of work now.

So looking for a place to half chassis for me.

Have you asked at M&M?
They may have a few contacts
All the old timers are shutting down & it’s hard to find a chassis man.

I'll start with M&M for now, they are now mainly service, MOT and repair work, they don't seem to like heavy welding repairs any more, I also reckon it would cost a few thousand in labour, for what should be in region of 1k in labour.

The place I would have used has gone.

I think there's a place called RCP near Southam that make their own chassis sections and fit them. A friend used them a couple of years ago and said they were good. They were on Facebook.

There's apb on the Hartlebury site as well. Again not sure if they do big welding jobs.
They do a lot of expedition parts now. Used to go there for all the series 1 parts as they done a lot of tractors(I’m talking 25+years ago)
Sent a few people there for overland stuff & enjoyed the friendly service

Further to my previous post we have used 4x4 Developments twice now - once to fit the refurbished auto gearbox, sort my ABS issues, sort the hi/lo cable fitting, replace and recalibrate the rear height sensors and fit my rock sliders, and then again to sort a subsequent leak in the cooling system. Both times the service was brilliant and we came away confident that Dave knew what he was doing and had actually sorted the problems. We felt his invoices were very reasonably as well. I was talking to him this morning and he worked at his local Land Rover dealership for many years before branching out on his own.

M&M do not do this sort of work much now, partly due to room, also then did check my rusty ARB brackets and could not fix, (The late Astwood welded it).

I will contact the 4x4 dev place and see what they can do.
