so this means what exactly? How much of my hard earned dosh will I be parting with and will I need to become a street lady to pay for it?????
Clutch kit (plate-disk-bearing) & clutch kit (hydraulic set)
If you do scrap the gearbox and ird, drain oils etc for replacing just the disk then it will be tosh to leave the old plate and bearing for another time. Plus it is a freelander sooner or later they will fail too.
Hydraulics are also expendable.
SPIT!!!!!Nissan X-Trail

Well it's now in garage and I'm expecting a bill of anything from £500 - £800 great! They're taking the gearbox out to fix it and will check clutch whilst they are at it.
!
I assume they still have to take gear box out to sort that though?
Well progress yes, but I had to have gear box replaced and they did the clutch plate kit whilst they were at it. Cost me mega bucks so I think I'll be trading it in sometime in the new year. Not sure for what but I can't keep up with the £££! I like driving the car but I have no confidence in it any more.
