Advice please on selling privately

cool glad to know i can be landyist in spirit if not in actuality.
I will definitely miss it but i just cant keep it at the mo. Will need to drive to London frequently at some point too and that mayor bloke is going to make that very expensive in an older diesel.
Good heads up re the insurance. Scarey thought.
Lol i will make sure i have to hand a picture of a dog having a dump!
(Btw apologies for my earlier misquote - it should either have been "needs must when the devil vomits into your kettle", or "fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more." ....but the effects are much the same! Thats better. I wouldve lost sleep over that else! Pedant? Moi? )

I used it once. I was bombarded with texts from a complete timewaster, asking dozens of questions that were in the ad anyway.
When it became clear that they had no intention of buying, I blocked the number.

Ebay has worked for me l sold several cars that way.

Absolute top tip is the minute the buyer drives away in your old car ring up and cancel your insurance straight away, not an hour later not the next day but straight away as amazingly you may be liable for costs if they crash their new car!
