Advice on power upgrades

Hi, looking to try and improve power (torque mainly) on my 300tdi, really just to make it better to drive on a daily basis.

The only thing I can see out there is fitting an uprated intercooler and tweaking fuel pump etc… Sounds like about £500…

What else can I do thats worthwhile, preferably not for silly money…

It is translatable to a defender and costs approx £0

Not a huge amount you can do to a 300tdi,

A larger inter cooler will be noticeable,

EGR blanking will help, if you can, get it on the manifold, not the EGR unit, but the unit is easiest,

Fuel pump tweak can be a good next thing, but in my experiance (mainly with a Disco over 90 with this) it can cause a few issues when it comes to MOT, its barely getting though emissions,

Putting in a Disco transfer box is a good upgrade, the ratio is better for motorway driving,

End of the day, its a diesel, its not going to win any speed races,

A straight through exhaust but it will be a little more noisier though which i like on mine but its a ( 200tdi )

Check all the screws first as it may have already been tweaked?
