Hi folks, not posted for quite sometime. My 90 needs a new bulkhead, so I decided I would buy a fairly new one from a tdci and go for a dash upgrade at the same time. I also intend to loose my soft top roof and cage and put standard roof and doors back on. I also want to use the doors off the more modern tdci and possibly the bonnet.

Basically does this all sound do able?

Yes, Everything is doable, Some easier than others.
I'd say the hardest part of that is the tdci dash and making it work.
From what I've seen people use the td5 gauges in the tdci binnacle as the tdci ones wont work without an ecu. Although this may have been overcome by now by some electricery guru :D
Though if you're paying someone the costs will soon add up.

Yeah still not too sure. Not sure if the cabs going to feel more cramped. Might just use the bulkhead and refit my old dash. It also comes with the tdci heater matrix etc. does anyone know if this could be used to replace my old one.

Also got the chance to buy the tdci front doors. I'm guessing these will fit ok?

I doubt you can fit the tdci heater box without fitting the dash to be honest.
A lot of people say the new style dash makes it more cramped. But then a lot of people like it also.
Doors will fit and are supposedly better being the pressed steel design now.
So if they're reasonable money they're worth buying.

Thanks for your reply. They are £600 for the pair? I've been told they are mint. The only thing I'll have to do is wire up lecy windows

I'm a tight twunt so wouldn't pay that for doors.
Although that is probably slightly less than they'd do on ebay or the like.

As I say it seems a little less than they'd go for on ebay or the like. So no it's not bad really.
I gave £250 for my last set of doors. Which were mid td5 era and very solid.
That was more than enough for me. Did I mention I'm tight
