I insured with Adrian Flux last year after getting my vehicle back on the road after 4 years. I’ve had my renewal through recently (no changes/claims in the last 12 months so nothing to change on the policy) and they want to charge me a £100 policy issue fee! When I asked what that was they said it’s for re-issuing the policy...with the same insurer! £100!

What an ‘effing con! What an absolute joke! It’s just a licence to print money. I’m absolutely disgusted with them!

I will be honest I didn’t like AF either.
I ended up with A Plan for years and no issue, on a limited mileage policy.

We're both with A-plan - no issues - but then no claims either so time could tell - but hopefully not

AF wouldn't / couldn't do business use so that killed it stone dead anyway .....

I would just add that A Plan excepted my value of the car and didn’t devalue it on renewals.
If I remember it was a 4000mile limit?

Not sure how that would have worked out on a claim, but luckily never had to find out.
